Our Story
One Mile Brewery began in 2012 in a shed in Stuart Park, Darwin, near the old 'One Mile Station'.
Beginning as a home-brewing side gig, it soon expanded into a full blown passion.
Over their years of experiments and study, the quantity of beer being produced increased dramatically and so did the quality.
The shed soon became too small to house their ambitions.
Darwin was lacking a source of locally produced beer. This motivated them further to try and develop their own commercial
micro-brewery, and so the process began; to transform the brewery from a hobby to a business.
The Brewery has now moved to larger commercial premises in Winnellie and the brewing set-up has greatly expanded.
The brewing process has been refined through years of experience, to ensure a consistent, quality product is made.
True to their beginnings, the brewery is still called One Mile Brewery after the shed in Stuart Park where it all started.
